1st in line for black/black! I pre-ordered my GT-R today!

Thanks, I like sharing the news w you guys because most people I know have never heard of the car before and react with "a GT what?" or "why did you buy a Nissan?" : )
First shipment to the dealership will be this June and they'll get 1-2 cars in each batch every month. If Black happens to show first, then it's mine, even if the person who ordered after me picked Red, but red shows first, then it's his/hers.
It could be as early as June 2008 or as late as Dec 2009 (yes, '09)... Luckily I'm first in line for the black so I am optimistic for now!

Congrats on getting one of the fastest production cars (and best bang for the buck).
May I recommend an exhaust?
Here is an excerpt from another forum
Here’s also a R35 GT-R catback exhaust test in it where some shop fabricated a titanium catback exhaust and the car made 507.9ps (500.95hp) to the wheels. Granted, this test was conducted on a Dynapack so it probably read 5% or higher than any other dyno, but the gain of 22ps is for real. If you can’t do the math, that’s 485ps from the factory which is pretty god damn buff already considering the car is rated at 480hp at the flywheel (proof that a Dynapack reads high again). The boost went up by 0.1kg/cm^2 (1.42psi) due to the reduced backpressure, but this also tells you that the car has some serious potential from the factory. By looking at this exhaust I can guarantee you that it’s louder than hell so I wouldn’t expect a 22ps gain on a production catback exhaust though.

wow... that's quite a difference. Yes I agree, for the supercar numbers that the car puts up, the exhaust note is not quite there. I would love to add an exhaust as long as it doesn't void the warranty. Thanks for sharing.
Also, does anyone have suggestions on brand? Some people are hardcore japanese only when it comes to the GT-R. Is it worth it to pay extra for aMuse or Mines exhaust? Will it make that much of a difference?
