I am number 1 on my wait list. Nissan has allowed the dealers to work out their own deals. Under my plan, they are marking it up between 15 and 20K.

We will see if I pay that amount.

That's insane. My dealer came straight out, said this is how much it is, this is where you are in line, and guaranteed the price. I guess your dealer is just waiting to see just how much other people are paying so they don't charge you too little and regret it. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing I'm #1 in line, but not knowing the price.
