A confession to make...

I hear you man... Nissan would have to give me the best trade-in values EVER to make a move. The plan has been to ride 2009 out, then buy either a lightly used 2009 Turbo or pick up a new DFI Turbo in 2010. Of course, if I move back to CA, I'm going directly to the Aston dealer for the 4.7L Vantage.

I was one of the first people in Cali (and the US) to receive the GT-R. It is all that it has been advertised. I believe people have grossly overstated the tranny issue; yes, I have beat on my car since I have owned it.
I have owned it since July and prefer driving it to my P-Car Turbo. It is my daily.

I am still considering it, but I don't suspect they'll give me what I want/need for my trades.

I am not trying to highjack here or so to speak "stir the pot", but if it was my money I would just save/spend the extra $ and go with the Porsche. I know what you are saying about how it looks. Saw one the other day down town but, I have to admit a 997TT would catch my attention more than a GTR. Just my .02

Yeah, that's the dilemma... Keep my RS4 and add a GT-R or dump it (and my Cayman) for a 997TT. I am heavily leaning toward a Turbo (either an '09 or wait for the DFI Turbo), but the GT-R has been on my car radar since I knew the R35 would be coming to the US (since 2003 I guess).

Oh I'm not comparing the Cayman to anything mentioned. I bought it because I got a great deal and it's fun. The Turbo is ridiculous fun - I test drove it and almost lost my license. Given the GT-R's performance, it'd be similar, but I could keep the RS4 as a DD.
