Red face A confession to make...

OK, so I fully 100% admit to being in the LOVE IT/HATE IT/**** 'EM camp when it comes to the GT-R... so I finally saw one in person, on the road...

HOLY SHIT

I love it. Wow - it is not half as big as I expected it to be. It looks VERY aggressive. The tailpipes, the stance, just menacing. The one I saw was black and it looked great.

Why oh why couldn't Nissan sell this car in Infiniti dealerships??? I got a call a couple days ago to pick one up at sticker when the next shipment comes in. I have to say, I am VERY tempted. Decisions, decisions...

Should I ban you now or wait until you've placed a deposit?

It is a fine car - especially for the price. I like it better than a Z06. BBI Autosport has done some great stuff with the GT-R as well.

Wait until he gets one and nukes the transmission first. Then ban him.

Chris!!! I knew you would end up on this road. You've been back and forth for a while on this. I think it looks best in white. What color did you see in person?

If you can get it as MSRP and you don't void your warranty by doing so, then maybe it's worth a shot.

It was a black one... If the other colors look as good in person, it'd be a tough call. I'd want a LOT of clarity (and in writing) about the transmission and other warranty coverage before I commited. My RS4 has been a very faithful servant...

Do it and we will handle your aesthetic mods

Seriously though, if you never use the launch control, it is a great car for all around performance

Chris...I've seen plenty and I cannot get into it...not to mention the overexaggerated performance claims (if you believe the Porsche numbers)...get a 997 TT!!!
