some reason it reminds me of an aston martin in alot of areas.

Saw one at the SF auto show, and I have to agree with Jon, Ugly, Ugly, Ugly!!!

I guess they didn't know how to make it good looking so they just made it strange looking. I hate it when car companies change things just for the sake of change, like they did with the headlights and taillights. This is why a Porsche 964 and Ferrari 355 are still great looking cars today, and a Nissan GTR already looks dated.

I do like the fact thay they lightened the new z by 200 pounds, and made it smaller, but why mess with the lights? Most People see a 996 and still think it's a brand new car, because it doesn't follow any trends that date it to the 1990s. The Japanese and American car companies might figure this out soon and there cars might retain a little more value.
