As you can see, I really like creating art on the bike as a canvas, I would love to make a custom version like this for fun....The bike below is the creative director's at Specialized fun toy for his lunch time rides...



I started playing with potential design idea's but haven't gotten anywhere past that yet....

Thanks for the sug. I ended up snagging a carbon sl on ebay for 67$ and just couldn't pass it up. Hoping it does the trick since it has it has more padding than the slr.

I finally got the thing on the scales and the way it came is 16.5lbs. Turns out the seat mount they stopped making in cf because they all were snapping so i'm screwed out of at least 1/3rd of a pound there. Hoping the seat and bars can make a full pound or worst case at least pull this thing under 16. I guess the carbon wheels weigh a good bit more than normal non aero wheels.

 

Just leave me alone for a few minutes. Sweet Jesus.

$67 good God that's cheap as hell.

Also your bike must be massive. My 54 BMC (alu) weighs a smidge over 16 with very little carbon anything - just the stays. Tiny bikes FTW!
