Got my bike back from the shop today. Front wheel seems to be making a little noise, gonna get that checked out. Been really tempted to get a new set of rims though... this might be the straw that makes me do it. Really happy with the new brakes and pedals though. Also figured it would be a good idea to grab a helmet.

Finally got time to take my bike out in Austin for the first time. Did a small 15 mile ride since I was trying out bike routes around downtown area. Once I get into better shape, I'll be riding around Lake Travis.

Did a 13 mile ride today, since my fat ass is still very much out of shape. Since summer school starts today at 1:30, it gives me plenty of time to work out in the mornings, which I haven't been able to do in a long time due to work.

First mountain bike ride of the season! OMG, found this spot called Duthie. It's free. It's freeride. It's badass! I really couldn't believe how incredible this is. You could easily string together trails to make it a flowy XC ride with fairly easy climbing or you could do the features and have some fun. Or both!
Some of he pacNW guy gotta get out here with me. I suspect this is gonna be my go to spot for fun riding.
There is supposed to be a more climb/XC oriented area at Tiger Mt. as well, I might try that this week as well.
