I'm in AK right now and don't have a bike or a pool so it's all running and yoga this week. My first run on tuesday was indoors on a treadmill and it was saying I was running something ridiculous like 15 minute miles. I knew that had to be off, and the sun came out yesterday so I took to the local in town jogging trails.
Much better pace (I stopped several times to look at the GPS and get my bearings, it's probably a true 9min mile) and the funny thing is that I run this speed whether I'm going 2 miles or 6, lol! Since I'm doing this with the idea that I'll eventually do an ironman before I'm 40 I guess I should just keep this pace and increase distance.
