I'm with you, I'm not a running fan at all. I have a spin bike in front of my downstairs home theater. I also love me some concept II rower.

Chase i have been working out for the majority of my 8 weeks back with fasted training. i drink water but i do have the caff boost from my vpx meltdown fb. When i was obese i would always go to the gym fasting but that was from lack of knowledge and the misinformation. now, i make up for it with ny dieting
results wise it has been great
lost 8kg and got stronger for sure HOWEVER when i go workout NOT fasting, perhaps have a banana and orange or cereal w milk or any leftovers in the fridge, i feel a lot "better" doing my cardio
a friend has tried fasted training all Ramadhan (when you fast from sunrise to sunset) and he reported good results and i think he continues to do it sometimes

morning weigh in at 85.4 which is great imho considering how much home-made lasagna i ate last night at 7pm AND at 1am before bed
v happy with that since i managed to get 83.x two days in a row. so at 8 weeks i'm gonna log myself at a round 84.0kg (started at 92kg)
motivation still as high as when i started, hopefully will manage to go to the beach this weekend rent a jetski and get some tan on me

Nice, I hadn't read that one. Berkhan again with a good article.
"It seems that the increased anabolic activity seen post-workout is a compensatory response to the increased catabolism that occurs during fasted state training. Very interesting. The big question is if there would be a net difference in muscle growth at the end of the day. Training on an empty stomach will cause greater catabolism in the short run, but will it yield greater gains in the long run? Do we make a small sacrifice in order to receive a greater reward?"

With all the cardio available to us, the one that stands time and time again to lean me out properly has always been the Stair-step (stairmaster). I can always look forward to walking away from the machine looking and feeling like I just spend 3 hours walking through the desert. Anyone Zele agree w/ this? Also the lower impact helps greatly too w/ legs.
