I must've slept no more than 3 hours last night, but had a great gym session today.

Deadlifts are up to 285lb

ATG Squats went up to 245, which was huge in comparison to last weeks squats where I felt weak.

Standing barbell calf raises with 295lb.

tomorrow will be interesting

LOL! i totally agree doing it once in a while,

i wish i can maintain a healthy diet and go to the gym on a regular basis. with my baby girl crying late at night i barely have enough sleep.

i'll start by preparing my meals late night so i can take it with me to work and find a new gym,

Those two aren't mutually exclusive. I was up last night with my boy, he's getting even more teeth (when does it stop???!!!!)

Up at 6:30am to study tech, running with a friend at lunchtime.

Pre-prepping meal so you can grab and go is a big part of eating right. Gimme 35-40 min and I can have chicken breasts, brown rice and veggies for 2-3 days in pyrex and in the fridge.

Starting my 16 day program over again, didn't look like much when I first read through it but it kicked my arse. I also need recommendations for a new set of headphones, my beats died yesterday.

SoCal is an unknown quantity at this point
Been hitting the gym at 6:15 for the last week or so, and I have to say, it is great having a mostly empty gym to myself.

Today:

W/U: Dynamic stretching, DL 135# x10, 225#x15; Box jumps- 24" x10, 30" x10

Dead lifts: 225#-10, 225#-10, 315#-8, 315#-8, 315#-8
Box Jumps: 30" x 10 x 5
KB swing to vertical: 24KG x 10 x 3, 36KG x 8 x 2

Pool: 25M underwater crossovers- 10 nonstop with 15 seconds rest between to prevent shallow water blackouts

It's nice to be back.

Beast mode. Those deadlifts are killer. I am only doing 315x6 then I have to drop to 315x4.

As I recall you're tall, yes? 6'3" or 6'4"? So much harder to up the weight, the 5'11" and under crew has the advantage there - less distance to cover!

Do you believe early morning gym is better than other times of the day?

Just going is better than anything. I enjoy working out in the mornings, however, it only happens on the weekends. Everyone has their own style, some like to go to the gym and bust through their workout, others take forever.
