Temp at the starting line was 38F....BRUTAL...."Warmed" up to around 44 by the time i finished. And it was windy. Made those ice filled swims THAT much worse....esp when the first plunge was on mile 1 and i had 11 more to go...freezing/soaking wet!

-Color Run 5k (you wear all white and people/volunteers throw color paint at you)
-Ski 2 Sea (98 mile 7 event relay race (XC ski, downhill ski, running, road bicycling, 2 man canoe, mountain bicycling and ocean kayaking. I'm doing this for the 2nd time)
-Survivor Mud Run 5k
-Torchlight 8k
-Warrior Run 5k
-Zombie Run 8k
-Tough Mudder
-Seattle Half Marathon

A hell of a lot of races for me! I just hope I survive all of them!
Def a full line up there --- although i must say, the Mudder is BY FAR the most challenging of that group. A 13 mile run (1/2 marathon) is NOTHING compared to the 12 mile mudder. And those shorter runs (Warrior Run 5k, etc) are fun but def no where near as challenging and taxing on the mind & body as the mudder. Cant wait to hear your thoughts when you are done!!!

In lots of those vids you see Ronnie doing limited rom. See the leg press, he's doing the bottom half there and is nowhere near lockout. Nothing wrong with working rom, its great to avoid injuries. I do low lunges with lighter weights and above parallel squats because of my lower back issues.

BTW-Weighed in at 174.8 this morning. I stuck to a mostly clean diet but not cutting diet during my early week travel/customer meetings. Chicken and brown rice, fresh local seafood, 2 bad lunches one bad dinner, a few drinks. Still lost weight.

My 32's are loose again, have to break out the belt today. Pretty much just lower ab fat and love handles to go. I may end up at 170 which would be an pretty decent end of this experiment.

Today is cheat day.

Joined a gym called Lifetime Fitness yesterday. It's a globo gym as us Crossfitters call them, but it is the nicest gym I've ever been in. I like working out on my own and not in a "Class" setup, and my local CF box doesn't have an open gym, so I am back to a regular gym.

There is a Lifetime here, too. I know a few people that joined. We also have a brand new David Barton.

I'll be on my 10th Insanity workout tomorrow (I'm off schedule, Sun is supposed to be rest but I took today). I am keeping up fairly well and enjoying (yes, I like it) the elliptical as well. What a difference the P90X recovery formula makes. I haven't been sore very much at all.

I also started using MCT oil. You guys have thoughts on it?

Ahh, it feels great to be back in the swing of things. Front squats, snatches, cleans, and ab rollouts. Fawk.
