I know it IS much higher than that, but if you are going to do 45 minutes of it, just keep it under 140 for the entire time. We are working on getting your cardio threshold up, so you will be able to do more and recover more quickly. And definitely ease into anything fitness related. The easiest way to get out of shape is to get hurt trying to get in shape.

My dad has a saying, from back when he was in the army - "it takes no effort to be uncomfortable." I'll take my 70F gym thanks

32 minutes hill climb today on the spinner. 75 watts to 400 watts. I only had 30 minutes but I was dead afterwards anyway so it didn't matter.

Just got back from the gym. I did back and chest today to shock my muscles and to promote new muscle growth. Here is the breakdown:

*4 sets of each exercise; 15/12/9/6 of reps per set
-dumbbell flat bench press (per arm): 70/80/90/100 pound dumbbells
-lat pulldowns (per side): 90/115/140/165 pounds
*I mixed incline dumbbell bench press and incline barbell bench press next, alternating the two
-2 sets of incline flat dumbbell bench press (per arm): 65/80 pound dumbbells
-2 sets of incline barbell bench press (total): 145 x 15, 195 x 6
-dumbbell chest flys (per arm): 35/40/45/50 pounds
-lateral cable press downs: 75/85/95/110 pounds
-lateral rows (per arm): 85/90/95/100 pounds
-kettle bell swings w/35 pound kb: 25/21/18/15 reps
-36" box jumps: 15/15/12/10/10/8

All done, and all of this to look good in a bikini... FML.

Probably my worst gym week in months. I think I only went 3 times this week.... that's horrible. Maybe I should be optimistic and say that it's probably good for my body to let it 'recover'.

I average 6 days a week. 3 days for weights, 3 for cardio. Last Thursday night I had dinner with some friends from high school, hadn't seen them in atleast 10 years. Let's just say I'm glad the gym is part of my daily routine.
