. To be completely honest with you, I don't have a problem with losing parts of my hands... As we all know we like different workouts, you guys like teh xfit and I'm the "old-school"-gym guy. I don't do my exercises in the same tempo as you guys do. Also, when I feel that my hands are starting to slip, I work on my grip.I actually don't use any equipment whatsoever in the gym. No belt, no gloves....well, I have a water bottle

has any of you guys ever tried this :
Sports Training With TRX | TRX
I always thought this is some gay shit for wimps and still think it can`t replace the real deal basic exercises, but I actually do think that it is a great way to give some new impulses to your muscles and to reach muscles you otherwise would not tap into.
I`ve recently tried it out and it feels good,...a nice addition to the basic stuff and it gives you a good stretch and feel for the muscles...
and it`s a great way to work out a bit when travelling and not having access to a gym

d00d br0 I just did a SICK WOD in this d00d's box man I am WOD'd out til the gamez let's get some WOD on omg I did so many DU's and FO's and FU's!
I saw someone talking about gloves, it's all personal preference but I never really was in to them, always found it best to let calluses develop and use chalk. Then again, I handled rough lumber almost daily for the better part of a decade so I don't really care if I have rough hands or not.
I use the TRX almost every time I am with my trainer and sometimes when I am on my own during higher rep workouts. There are some great push up variations (overhead tricep extensions) and you can do a ton of stuff for your legs/core if you stick your feet in the handles. Recently I had one foot in the handle, was doing a one leg lunge to a 2pt (hands only)push up then swinging my free leg forward back in to a lunge. It is excellent for horizontal pull ups, will really get your forearms, either standing off of the wall or on top of a balance pod/bosu ball. Good for leg tucks, etc etc.
I seriously thought it was a joke til I started using it, so I know where you're coming from. I know you are in to pretty heavy stuff, may want to try it with the weight vest.
