I would keep the GT2, but the lambo isn't what I'd consider a "downgrade". different strokes for different folks, the test drive will tell you all you need to know.

In terms of performance the Lambo will be a huge step down.

keep the GT2. Nothing matches it as an overall package and they are incredibly upgradeable.

Nothing puts big power down better.

Just get yourself a good inexpensive DD (I suggest an e46 M3) and keep the GT2 as a weekend toy. You will miss it if you sell it.

 

If the local dealer can be believed, there were only FOURTEEN (14) 997 GT2's available in Canada!!!

 

The GT2 is a fantastic car, especially your with the red and black wheels. The LP is nice but doesnt feel alive compared to a RWD Turbo and sport seats.

 

My local dealership has a white LP560...so good!
A bomb to the eyes...but the GT2 is still the GT2

 

Racing pedigree > entry level lamborghini...that concludes it pretty well. If its me either car would be good, but a triple black lp560 for me is the obvious choice.
