Thanx bro for the kind words.

The RS is a very expensive car to track.....

I will be tracking the car maybe 1-2 times a year just to get a feel for the car.

Just love modifying my car/s to my taste.....

Thanx for the love bro

Ok, finally received my passenger side RECARO pro racer Hans spa and now I can install it with my Safecraft Fire extinguisher.

For bucket seat install on a road going GT3 with FIre Extinguisher mount this is what i did. I opted for a fire extinguisher mount under the seat that slides with the seat because I didnt want to have a Fire Extinguisher projectile in case I was in an accident.

I used OEM 996 GT3 manual sliders for the Euro GT3 buckets

I used Brey Krause side mounts for RECARO SPG/SPA (Brey Krause has side mounts for all RECARO/OMP/SPARCO seats tpes) which I told them i needed custom on both sides to have the screw hole for the OEM SCHROTH harness side belt attachments and seat belt receptacles. I also took the liberty of drilling .5" holes lower on the rear and front of the side mounts to lower the seat more.

I used the OEM 996 sub belt bar

and for the passenger side I used the RENNLINE fire extinguisher underseat mount which is customized for the 996/997 OEM manual sliders for the euro GT3 996/997 1 piece buckets. (SHARKWERKS doesnt fabricate their underseat Fire Extinguisher mount any longer and the only 2 underseat fire extinguisher mounts that are available are Rennline and Brey Krause. Rennline u have to use the OEM sub bar and for the Brey-krause you have to use the Brey-Krause sub bar.

Hope this info helps any future modding for anyone installing aftermarket 1 piece bucket seats.

That is it for the modding this year and try to enjoy the car as much as possible.

Next year mods are probably 4.0 clutch and RSS suspension bits.

Thanx everyone for the kind words on the build......

This thread is a way to document the history of my car just in case any future buyers need to know info on mods.....

My last GT3 never was advertised and a random person asked if I was selling and he bought car sight unseen because of documented history on the forum.

Axman: as for tracking, car is mostly street car, but will be tracking once or twice a year. Hopefully in November I'll have my first track day with her.
