Question about servicing time for GT2

It has been 12 months since my last service which was the 12k service. The car has 15k miles on it now. Car is giving service now message and dealer says I'm due for 4 year major service but since it has low miles that it probably does not need all of that. He recommends $500 service and $200 brake flush. The 4 year major service also includes spark plug change which would make the total $1600 for everything. Do not mind spending the money if it is really needed. Please advise for those who are in the know and aren't just guessing.

Thanks

Are the sparkplugs 4yr old too?

Is is needed? no, they will do the job for 1 more year probably, even 4 more years likely even 10 more is possible. But it's called maintenaice for a reason, you don't want to end up repairing things because you lack maintaning the small parts.

It's a bitch replacing the sparkplugs in porsche boxer engine, but if they are in there for 4 years, yes you should do it anyway, doesn't matter what mileage on them..

Yeah, they are 4 to 5 years old. I was thinking just to do them anyway where the service advisor said it could probably wait a little longer.
Thanks

It's the dealer, everything is overpriced. As I always tracked my cars, the maintenance schedule was preventive like:

Engine oil and tranny fluid - every 3 events
Alignment check - 3 events
Nut and bolt - 3 events
Brake bleed - every event
Plugs - 10K miles (GT3)
Visual inspection and small things done at the same time. I learned that never missed an event and never had an issue, so that's priceless for me.

Bottom line is do what is recommended either at your indy shop or dealer.
