If you look at the video closely listed on page 2, they are different cars. Whoever did the video didn't clarify at what point the cars change. I guess they didn't have to. The first few are the new 991 GT3RS, the last car is a 997 GT2RS. Slow the video down and you will see a spoiler difference, and then closer inspection shows different exhaust exit points. It states it on the heading they are different cars, but it's easy to misunderstand. But it's easier to hear the exhaust and know it's a NA car at the start.

 

Pause the video at 0:41, and you can make out that it says GT3RS right behind the front wheel.

 

No, that's the GT2 RS.

 

Yeah, that's just a regular 997 GT2 RS. Very common for Porsche to test new models with their previous generation counterparts to have a solid baseline.

 

Gear changes didn't sound PDK either. Interestingly enough the video was cut just before driver could throw in a higher gear.

 

Is it really that hard for some people to distinguish the sound and looks of the 991 GT3 (most likely RS) that's pure NA engine and the after 997 GT2RS car ?

 

Most likely because that second car was a stock 997 GT2 RS; manual transmission only.

What make car is that ? Impossible to tell with those badges taped up ...
