rs will have fixed buckets in the uk.......u.s in the past only had the folding option.......I was told apparently down to visabilty, over the shoulder etc vision. I don't know how true that was,i guess once there available in the rs they will be an option in stock gt3 in the uk, if you opt for the clubsport pack .

So what fixed back in the UK? Are they going to continue using the nomex CGT seat?

I may be wrong, but I thought the older (GT2) folding bucket was no longer and option in the US, hence my thought that maybe they were developing the 918 seat for this purpose.

I am only speculating, but have been in the market for a 997 GT3 CS as I am living in the UK at the moment. I like the old GT2 seats, but the nomex CGT seat is awesome.

RS Seats

Porsche is certifying the old sport seats (fixed back) again. They will be available as an option on the 991 GT3RS and after the RS is released will be an option for the GT3. Unfortunately my new GT3 will be delivered too early to have them.

Hi Manursr, do you have any other information, is this because of an issue common with 991GT3 or something specifically related to the RS? Any news appreciated.

The car will not be delivered before the end Of 2014 or beginning 2015.
They want to take no risk on delivery and space enough delivery with gt3
