The cat is "HJS Tuning" and note the "E" at the beginning of the product number, I believe this stands for Emitec, the two companies
seem to be connected - I'm not sure how

 

Hey man,

Would you know where I can find a video of a gt2 that is catless with the factory akrapovic? I am debating about going catless but fear that it will be way too loud from its stock form.


Any input??

 

No videos or sound tracks but in the past I have run a 965 catless straight through stock muffler and a 993 turbo ditto, both tuned and they sounded OK, not too loud. Resonances usually come from messing with the factory muffler so I wouldn't worry about that.

Fire an email to Cargraphic and ask them, they will probably be able to tell you.

Edit - Or ask on Rennlist I'm sure one of the guys on there runs his sans cats
