Car and Driver Pits Juke R Against GT2 RS
When you have to look at the Juke R, you have to wonder just how the hell something like it got built.

And who knows? Maybe some Nissan executive had a few too many at some fancy shindig, and was like, “OK. Ghosn isn’t even sure we’re going to bring back the GT-R. But we should probably have a bunch of highly paid engineers work overtime to get all its running gear stuffed into a Juke body. Because that, my friends, is just a great idea.”

At least that’s the way it went in my head. Because I’m a dreamer—who thinks automotive big shots still get to make whimsical decisions like this when they’re trashed. But regardless of why it exists, the Juke R is exactly the kind of Frankenstein which makes crazy gearheads want to get up in the morning. The kicker is Nissan is actually going to built a few of these monsters. Sure, they’ll cost 500k, and there’s probably no way they’ll sell you one, but they’ll be out in the world, and that’s what’s really important.

Anyway, Car and Driver managed to get their hands on one, and they took it to the track, pitted it against a Porsche GT2 RS and made this tremendously entertaining video. Enjoy.

I'd take the GT2RS over the Nissan Puke-R any day, regardless of performance.

The price is a bit ridiculous and I do prefer the GT2 RS. But I reaaaally like that Juke R!! If I had the money I'd definitely have one!

Juke R is a laugh but I would have a GT2 RS any day of the week and twice on Sundays!

Juke R isn't around for someone to decide between it and a GT2...the Juke R will sell out, and the guy who buys it will probably already have a GT2 in the garage
