New GT3 at Nurburgring (PDK or not?)

a 991 GT3 with a 9A1 engine and a PDK is not a GT3. VW can put the badge on it, they can make it fast, but it will never be a GT3.
A GT3 needs a race engine and a race proven transmission, nothing less. Then, some geometry adjustments in the suspension, big brakes, brake cooling ducts, light body panels, light muffler, and a few aero tricks, that makes a GT3.

Porsche made a PDK variant that totally imitates a sequential tranny?

First car- IDK- but 2nd was 100% a Turbo. If anyone has been around a Turbo under full throttle you'll recoginize the 'rushhhhhhh' sound of it, like a muted jet.
Finally, anyone notice what's on the front of the Turbo in the head on pic?

It would be a faster C2S with a big spoiler and a fake heavy sequential.
I think it is funner albeit slower to just shift yourself..
I hope I'm wrong, I need a fresh one in another 2 years. I've put 80 track days and 18K mile on my car in the last 2 years. Hopefully it will do it again, but beyond that it is not reasonable to think it won't need to be replaced or rebuild. Good thing they build many '10s +'11s.

The first one definetly didn't have a turbocharger. Listen to the engine differences in the two cars. Second one is no doubt a Turbo, the first one is a different story. Here is a spyshot from the same day of both of the cars. One is obviously the Turbo, the other 'looks' to be a GT3.
Who knows though. As some have said, it could just be a C4S. I think that's where I'm placing my bets as of now.

I seriously doubt Porsche is going engineer a new version of an already complicated transmission, just to give the GT3 a better feel.
If they were so concerned about "feel", they wouldn't have gone with electronic steering on the 991.

I agree with Mr. Trakcar and the like, but too be honest I'm over the issue. My love of analogue driving is going extinct. I'll be looking for a 997 GT3/RS for my M3 replacement.
I'll say it again, I pal on being the guy half a lap behind, grinning ear to ear as I oppo through another set of PS Cups.
