Wow, Ruf is just next level, very impressive. Surprised no FLAT 8 though. Amazing nonetheless.

Im going to be the first to say though if Porsche ever puts a V8 or any 8 cylinder in the beack of a 911 the public outcry will be huge! Such is always the case with change........Then of course everyone would LOVE it. LOL

 

Car sounds so freak'ing amazing. I wonder if this pisses off Porsche that RUF did the 8 cylinder thing first?

Well, Ruf has developped this engine already a few years ago..so Porsche had all the time in the world to do something similar. Im not sure when you say "8 cylinder first" what you mean..8 cylinder will in the 918 from the RS Spyder..finally again a Racing engine in a Porsche Road car. 991 GT3 and GT2 will use 9A1 engine..despite the V8 speculation...

I think a V8 will come later..450HP can also be tweaked out from the 991 engine..no need for an V8
