Problems removing the Speed alarm on RS 4.0
#22
Some specific countries regs most likely. Can be removed if you sign a waiver though. it is really annoying as it starts when you hit 120kmh and does shut up before you go down to below 115kmh.
This being said as your speed goes up above 120 the engine noise covers it partly

Got carried away...the "can be removed" does not apply to the RS 4.0 so far as Porsche has no clue how to disable it on this specific model (no problems for any other P-car)...yet another reason that makes this car special

yes, indeed, mine was fixed on the 28th of April after motherland had to send an engineer to Dubai who did not believe the local technicians.
A software was released to the OPC in Dubai for only a few days and they had to fix all cars during this window.
Am actually annoyed the alarm is gone...it is too easy to go to 140kmh now without realising lol
what a car!

You can still set your speed limit beeps to go off at whatever speed you want, just to let you know.
Mine took about 20 minutes going to go through the software. Car thinks it's German spec now.
