And now back from TC Design with one of their slick roll bars installed:

Also concealed in the interior is a switch for the EVOMSit Dual-ECU set up. One EPROM has a full 91-octane tune and the second ECU harbors a full 93-octane map:

The rear decklid is taken off:

Along side is a factory GT3RS decklid:

And now with everything right down to the crank as the next phase is basically cleaning those engine parts and a few things for those heads (more on that later).
More removal:

Out come those factory cam shafts:

And down to those lovely titanium rods. Incidentally we will be replacing those expensive rod bolts and bearings:

The stock 3.6L pistons:

And now let's split that case:

After a few cycles in the parts washer one side looks like this:

And those other dirty pieces are now clean (ready for assembly):

With all of the engine parts having been cleaned in the parts washer and with some elbow grease assembly can begin with all new parts...
First step is the case along with new bearings:

The crank is also assembled with the rods that have new rod bolts and bearings etc..

In goes the crank assembly along with the oil pump and chains:

New seals everywhere of course...

And the other side of the case goes on along with the studs:

Getting there!

Meanwhile the heads are ready with stronger valve guides as well:

Assembling the pistons and rings...

Two of the three liners are also in along with the pistons:

Aha... now we're starting to look like an engine in here:

From the side...

Setting up the timing blocks for cam timing:

Expanding by the hour...

And now the wiring harness and other auxiliary stuff:

Pulleys and then some...

Intake manifold back on...

The oil tank:

Meanwhile our friends at Gaurd have beefed up the LSD unit:

Ready to go back into the transmission:
