Glad to see everyone was alright. That could have been real bad, he was moving

 

Hoosier tires have been problematic at Daytona this year.

 

Good to know that he came out of this incident unscathed.

Sure there is some luck in not hitting the wall, but there is also skill involved in doing the right thing at the moment it happens. If he had tried to counter-steer (probably instinct when the rear end steps out), he would have been in the wall for sure. Because he turned left and locked it down, he spun harmlessly into the grass. I say skill saved him more than luck.
