Track works them more . you can make them last longer by cooling down for 2 laps after each session , but still fragile .I got 15000 miles ( mostly track by doing this and REALLY working on cooldown ) . I plan to cane my 4.0 so specced sans ceramics . Steels all the way , feel better too.
also remember a trip to the gravel can cause a VERY expensive trackday ...

Reduced unsprung weight, no brake dust. What's not to love?

I love my PCCB's. You gotta pay to play. I have 6 hard track days on them and my OEM pads were toast. I now have the Porsche Motorsport P50 greens and just love them. They are OEM cup car pads that last longer and have more bite when heated up to temps.

Are those pads more abrasive than the stock pads?

Good question but I really don't have the answer. But it is very possible that they are. I guess I will find it after next track season.

Ok, keep me posted. If they're as good as you make it sound then I might want to switch. I'm STILL on my original pads after over 38k miles.

Make sure they are approved for use on the ceramics. By Porsche. Not your mechanic. I've had 2 friends get their warranty claim denied by using Pagid pads that weren't approved for the PCCB's. So they had to buy new rotors.

Porsche doesn't "approve" of anything other than what the car comes with OEM. I track with the only Porsche cup car race team in Canada called Bullet Racing and they own a Porsche tuning shop and suggested I go with these pads. My whole suspension system has been changed as well which, I'm sure Porsche would use as ammunition to blame any unrelated problem I have with the car. I expect them to deny any warranty issue anyway as my dealer doesn't even encourage tracking my car as that leads to premature wear and voids warranty too. They say what they want to say which is all a bunch of BS too if you ask me

You should find another dealer. We sponsor track days for our customers and most dealers will get it on warranty assuming its not directly effected. I'd get another dealer

Kind of ironic that you buy a sports car but they won't cover any problems if you track it. Isn't that what a 911 is for?
