It's no secret that the Porsche factory carbon buckets are great looking, purpose built and very comfortable.

However, the owner prefers the fit and feel of the RECARO Profi SPG XL seats with our RSS Seat Base Kit (Part#925) which allows these RECARO seats to be mounted in a lower position than the factory seats.

We will also be installing a set of SCHROTH Enduro Harnesses.

As fancy as the red 'RS 4.0' embroidery is, the owner we will be storing these beauties away keeping them in 'brand new' condition.

The pair of RECARO Profi SPG XL:

More pics to come, center muffler is next...

It's a "street car", but its always good to have a back up track car if needed.

Seriously, I just did not want to use the stock seats and I prefer to use 6 point belts when driving. I'm sure the car will some DE track time, but the 3.8L will do most of the heavy lifting. The car is very compliant and comfortable on the street and has no harsh or hard edge feel to it at all. IMO it ride far better than the 3.8L RS regardless of the suspension setting.

Dropped my car off this morning and got a look at both your 3's. And then I got to hear it take off when they took it to a photo shoot. I have driven and revved up a 3.8rs and your 4.0 sounded much louder, deeper, and insane. I did not get a chance to ask them what they did to that exhaust but it would certainly wake up my neighbors. Great car and great group of guys at RSS working on it.

With the RSS seat base kit are the seats fixed in one position or does it allow sliding for&aft seat position?
Thank you

Ranger
