Thanks for posting...would have been nice to have the actual lap times...looked like the RS was restrained from going faster in the curves while the MP had obvisouly the advantage in the straights.

Video kind of sucked. Autocar could have done so much more. Either way the GT3 rs held its own which surprized me.

autocar should know better. This chase means nothing. Lap times by the same driver are a far more accurate measuring stick

Sayyar is an unknown quantity at this point
Something I have noticed way before I got my RS.. "GT3 IS ALWAYS THE UNDER-DOG"

I don't know why but very few reviews gives this car credit or a fare comparison!

Gents the track in question is a piddly almost go cart track . Looking at that video and listening to the driver ( suttclife is a very good race driver ) its obvious on most tracks or somewhere like SPA the GT3 wouldnt see which way the Mp412cps68shsiw went .

Not to put a downer on anything ( I am the biggest Porsche fan ) but thats almost another league of performance .

Absolutely right. The track must have a combination of slow, fast corners and a decent straight as well, in order to have the mod accurate results.

No doubt in my mind the 997.2 GT3 RS will be a legend for being one of the greatest sports cars of all time say 20 years down the road. I mean, it already has a status among nearly all automotive journalists as a legend.
