Here's some pics of my very first race in the Cup Car. This thing is so so so much fun to drive. I DON'T want out of the seat when driving. I wish I could explain it better. We had a great weekend. Should have won my first race (made a rookie mistake), and got second by a half car length on another race because I got blocked several times. Which you can't do in PCA. Either way, it was a successful weekend. I just wanted to get home without a scratch. We did more than that.

Looking good. Made the first race, finished, no damage, got the punch. That's a good weekend.

Waiting on Jason to get home. He is doing Army driving training in Baton Rouge. When he gets back on Thursday we will have a couple good one's to watch. Had to avoid a spin out on one lap which caused me to go "2 off" to miss. The double fish tail at 120 when I got back on the track has to be a good watch.

 

SWEEEEET RSR!!!!! WTF is that thing doing club racing? Was it fast or just posing.

That's the car I was offered to buy via Porsche Motorsports, but I passed on the $350k price. This guy ended up buying. I believe in the right hands this car is untouchable on the track. 480 HP and light. I did 1:53 laps, he did 1:48. In 2.5 miles. Huge speed difference.

 

Time to strip down and run the RS 4.0L
