July 06-21 with 2 GT3RS 4500 miles 5 tracks
Some of you might need some inspiration for your next vacation ;-)
I decided my 40th B'day party was going to be for me and what I wanted to do was go drive new track. Wifey is very understanding (Or gave up ) and when I found another crazy guy to split the hotels and diesels we were good to go:
I left Delray Beach FL to pick up Izzone in Windermere FL on the 6th and we were back home July 21st.
Prep: call ahead make sure the groups would allow us on the track and register.
We put new PFC rotors and PFC08 pads in before we left and we took extra rotors, pads, 2 sets of track wheels, plenty of Toyo RA1 tires, beer an 5 hour energy drinks.
Neither one of us had visited any of the tracks before and we tried to put down a respectable time on each track, so by pushing a bit more then usual my driving in not very fast, but not very slow (I think) for being there the first time. Plenty sloppy and ragged, I usually am pretty smooth and can heel n toe, but we were a bit flustered, never mind tired and hungover ;-) Road America, Mosport and Watkins Glen are plenty intimidating too
Drove 7+8 July
Autobahn Country Club 9+10 track

Drove 3 hours to Road America 11+12 track

Drove 7 hours to Mid Ohio

July 18+19 Watkins Glen track

20+21 drive home
4500 Miles. 10 track days, 5 never before visited tracks.
We used about 550 Gallons of diesel, but we had an extra tank for a 110 gallons total so we only had to stop 5x for diesel.
Fantastic vacation, we made friend along the way, met the local track junkies who showed us the way around and laughed our asses of.
The truck: Dodge dually with 44' trailer
The cars: 2 white / red RS:

A couple more pictures; Again lots of beer involved, my white wrap was getting ugly )Car is getting make over today and tomorrow white / gold clear wrap) and someone broke out the sharpie. We found the local Supergirl at the bar the night before Mosport and convinced her to come for a ride. We were a bit worried as we had beer goggle un the night before, but she turned out te be cool enough Fellow Teamspeeder MJenk met up with us at Mid Ohio and Watkins Glen. I could ebay the wrap of my car now and be rich LOL.
