Actually mang... there are people who CLEARLY could give to shits. They'd rather poke themselves with an ice pick then worry over money.
Are they idiots? Subjective. But they sure do have a LOT of money...and statistically speaking- those who PAY the most, are the happiest. Those ppl who nickle and dime? They're typically miserable people- not always; but most of the time.

More importantly, this kind of adjustment (now -515 pts for the day !) gives people pause when not only buying a purely discretionary vehicle but paying over MSRP for it. When you're up +8% YTD (ie, 5/31)you don't mind another $15k to get what you want. When you take a 10% bath in 2 weeks, well that's another story. And yes...my dividends, Muni's and shorts ARE making me feel a little better today....
