Why to prepare a RS rather than to buy Cup...
Simply for cost-in-use, very important on Cup and almost nobody on a RS!
Fair enough. I went a different route, but I will say that the cars look great. How are they raced? Or just for fun?

The 1st thing is to take a lot of pleasure!
I have 4 races programmed this year in Canada.
The car is fast, but as much as I shall like...
Then 2 solutions:
Or, I am again going to work on the frame (suspension)
Or, I change car (I look at F430 Challenge)
Running with Ferrari was always for me a DREAM!!!
I have make many races, but all with Porsche, I shall like changing (24 hours of Spa Francorchamp, 24 hours Zolder, 24 hours Dubai, 25 hours Thunderhill...)

Both cars look really good. Can't believe they use to be regular RS's

sorry my english is also not so good.
When you are a good driver, buy a Cup suspension and made a sporty set up.
camber variation ............
An important rule:
First made the driver better, than the car!!

I drive a 996 GT3 RS on track - a series car.

A GT3 Cup is better than a GT3 RS! But it is not the same budget of maintenance...
I make +/-35 days (+/-120 hours) of practice with Porsche during the season with Cup it would be necessary to redo the engine 2 or 3 times in the season + so much time gearbox !!!!
Very very big budget!!!
Then I run with a GT3 RS MKII, it is less fast, but it is cheaper also.
I look for a solution of my problem of suspension (too supple(flexible) of origin).
I already have Cup in past...
