I am more interested in how these cars will perform in the hands of their typical buyers. After all, I am a typical buyer and not a rally god. Wouldn't you say that two drivers of equal amateur experience and talent, one driving a 458 and the other a GT2RS, the one with the 458 would most likely be faster? I think so.

Having said that, the driver in the GT2RS might have more fun though, especially if it were an RS 4.0.

McLaren has HUGE reliability issue...
Their show car was falling apart

That's disappointing that the McLaren electronic aid can't be disabled. Of all companies, I thought they would understand the need for total control.

I agree 100%. Tbh that would almost be a dealbreaker for me if I were a potential buyer. What the hell was McLaren thinking? It's almost like I can't believe it...
