We are proud to reveal yet another installation of an Akrapovic exhaust system. This time it was on a beautiful Porsche 997 GT3RS. This was the full “Evolution” Titanium system which consists of headers, muffler cans with built in butterfly valves, high flow cats, connecting pipes and tips. As expected from Akrapovic, the install was relatively straight forward and the fitment was as good, if not better than OEM.



This exhaust makes approximately 12 hp and 11 lb/ft of torque and saves about 40 lbs from the original equipment. The improved weight distribution and power-to-weight ratio translates to a significant improvement in driving dynamics.



The end result is quite astonishing and the sound is intoxicating, as evidenced in this video we made.

The weight loss from this exhaust system is incredible. Car sounds great too, would have loved to hear it wot through a few gears.

Sounds great. Have you or any of the people you know with the Akrapovic Evolution systems had to "remap the ECU" (to avoid the CEL coming on) as the Akrapovic homepage suggests?
