Summary:
PORSCHE IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2010-2011, 911 TURBO; TURBO S, 911 GT3, GT3 RS AND GT2 RS HIGH PERFORMANCE VEHICLES, MANUFACTURED FROM MAY 18, 2009 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 17, 2010, AND EQUIPPED WITH CENTER LOCKING HUB AND WHEEL ASSEMBLIES. OVER TIME THE HUBS CAN WEAR PREMATURELY.
Consequence:
AS THE HUBS WEAR, THE WHEELS COULD LOOSEN, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
Remedy:
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE CENTRAL LOCKING HUBS AND WHEELS WITH AN IMPROVED DESIGN, FREE OF CHARGE. THE MANUFACTURER HAS NOT YET PROVIDED AN OWNER NOTIFICATION SCHEDULE. OWNERS MAY CONTACT PORSCHE AT 1-800-767-7243.

I'm going to check on GTS anyway, see what they say. 1700 units isn't necessarily a lot given the number of Turbos and GT3s out there built well before the GTS launched. Better safe than sorry though.

I just spoke with PCNA and this TSB applies to my GTS (they checked via VIN). So, it appears that the GTS models probably also need to be brought in.

How many cars do you have that need this? Aren't all of them CL???

I was told by Porsche: All models Oktober 2010 and later have been built using the higher torque for the centerlock out of factory... so if you have a car produced 10/2010 and newer... you will be fine and no further action is needed.
