Tweaked White 2011 997 GT3RS: SharkWerks & RSS Goodies
This White/red themed 2011 997.2 GT3RS came into us for our stage 1 performance upgrade including the SharkWerks Exhaust and the EVOMSit Software tuning. With intended track usage we also installed an RSS 930 Roll-bar, Schroth 6-point harnesses and the SharkWerks Fire Extinguisher kit. RSS suspension links were added for more accurate handling and adjustment in the rear.
In she comes... next to a white 2011 997 GT2RS and black 2011 GT3RS (returning from One-Lap of America):
Out come the seats, center console and rear carpet trim. The rear section of the roll bar (in red) are attached to the strut tops:
The bar is installed:
Meanwhile with the seats out a set of red Schroth 6-point harnesses are installed:
And back into the car go they go:
With the SharkWerks fire extinguisher kit:
On the lift she goes:
And off comes the bumper:
With the heat shields removed off comes the stock center section:
On goes the lighter SharkWerks exhaust:
And from underneath:
With the exhaust installed it's time to install the EVOMSit software tuned for 91 octane via our OBDII equipment:
With the rear wheels removed the complete set of RSS adjustable dog bones are installed:
The stock rear lower link is replaced with an RSS bump/toe steer kit and eradicates the factory eccentric bolt (which moves under load) with proper lock out plates:
Another Shark-a-fied GT3RS ready for the track:
And that's a wrap (literally one of Premier's satin jobs):
