GT3RS 4.0 at 'ring

New 4.0 Porsche GT3.RS at the Nurburgring

Stood at the mini-karussell, listening to the different cars approaching, I could hear something special climbing through the Klostertal. It was high-pitched and smooth, a Porsche for sure. As it got closer I didn't believe it was a road car, I was expecting to see a GT3.R race car... then the new 4.0-litre, 500bhp GT3.RS arrived. What a noise!

The model itself isn't exactly 'news', but I thought it would bring joy to the hearts of Porsche fans everywhere to see this machine at the limit. It was also being chased by a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, though if either car was faster, I couldn't see the difference.

These things are on the left side aswell, look at the second pic. probably 1 for each wheel? And there's an antenna. So I think they collect data for the adjustment of the car.

7:27? I would have guessed less. What is 3.8 time?

7:27 is crazy fast! It's 5 seconds faster than the 3.8's 7:32. A 5 second difference is a major accomplishment.
