I was really wondering if the clutch has to be depressed for the action to happen. If you trail brake and the throttle blips because you've depressed the brake without the clutch being in I'm wondering what this will do to the car. Typically you've got a little maintenance throttle rolling in a trail brake but like I said now I'm curious how it all happens.

If it's tied to shifts only that makes more sense than if it's truly tied directly to the pedals.

It's only tied to the accelerator. Not the brake. And it only functions on the downshift for pushing throttle, but I would bet that when you upshift it relieves pressure on the motor for a millisecond until you are in full gas.

^New Zs come with that too, it's called Synchro-Rev. You can disable it though. Very weird feeling the first time you try it, as the engine revs to match the gear on downshift, like the car is possessed

The clutches are very sensitive. They make them too light in my book I only used one in 2 years in my 07 cup but guys on the circuit were burning 2 and 3 a year from their abuse of it.

Have fun. Truly except the RSR I can't imagine another track rat more fun. Makes we wish I was still racing this thread has.
