Do they? Thought that was the posh one from sport classic?

EXACTLY. Where are all the ****ing haters now? Where are all the idiots claiming DJ was wrong? Goddamn that pisses me off so much.... /rant

This car is AWESOME. I cannot say it enough - you guys have to be so jaded to not think this car is amazing. I love that they are leaving the 997 platform on a very strong high. And the best part? They chose a naturally-aspirated engine for the finale.

Thanks again, DJ, for posting all this stuff (and to Felix for starting this thread).

Yes. My GTS has the Alcantara Sport steering wheel as standard, just w/out the red strip at 12:00.

On Autoblog it stated the 4.0 is 2998 lbs WET. 500HP, 8k+ redline, 2998 lbs. Unreal. I admire the GT2 RS greatly... but it wont have this sound or the razor sharp throttle response!

^^ The us model is only 10lbs lighter then the 3.8. The euro version is 175 kilos lighter then the 3.8, don't know the conversion into lbs.

stockholm996TT is an unknown quantity at this point
Incorrect. The euro version is 10 kg (i.e. ca 20 lbs) lighter than the 3.8 RS (1360 kg vs. 1370 kg).

Most cars will probably be at least 50 kg heavier than that since the stated weight doesn't include the rear section of the roll cage, AC, radio etc. etc.

Looks and sounds amazing. This will go down as an instant classic. Great work, Porsche.
