the sales person said that he needs to bring a sample of the paint and than they send the reuqest to porsche in Germany, they reivew the request, if they decide to do it, the car will take an extra 6 months to complete

i'm tempted in the idea of getting a Guards red Cayenne

sorry for the off topic

They won't paint a Cayenne Guard's. I've asked. Unless they've changed in the last few months, you get Cayenne's in stock colors. You can now get a Pana in PTS, but I asked for a Guard's, and they wouldn't do it. They have no way to paint the satellite antennae in red to match and don't know how to yet fix that. LOL.

PTS is $8,210 US dollars. Deviated color deviated stitching is no charge. Yes, I said that right.

well then why in one of their ads, there's a guards red Pana? I'll post up a pic later, unless my eyes deceive me

Maybe they fixed. It was a while ago I asked. And it was specific to a Turbo that they wouldn't paint. Not a base or S model. Or something. Even told em to leave the satellite black and we would paint. They didn't compute.

that sucks !

the colors offered are few

since a customer is willing to pay they should do it !!
and they should just explain to customer, that a special order car, there are some pieces that are not sutiable for painting

and should leave it to the customer if he's going to accept it or not. i dont mind having some black bit in a guards red cayenne or pana

i was thinking guards red, black interior+ deviated stcitching
sport design and leave the spoiler black for a bit of contrast

with the 21' wheels in black

OH Well!!! its Porsche

I would say gloss/ simi gloss. OEM would not be flat black, that is for sure.
