Agreed! Can you please share the high res copy of this one? I'd love to use it as my wallpaper!
I also had no idea that Michellin was coming out with new tires. I'd made the switch from PS2s to RE050A's but now I'm happy to know there are worthy alternatives!

great write up and great to see you enjoying your CGT !
...although your anecdotal experience with the GTO was just that...anecdotal. For example, last week I ran the CGT against my GTO being driven by a pro race car driver....it wasn't close as you would expect...the GTO was miles ahead and the performance absolutely shattering.
Having compared my CGT and GTO back to back, I would say the performance is very close, with the GTO being marginally quicker...but its just an isolated experience
P.S Neither car is being booted from the garage anytime soon, both wonderful rides that check all the sensory stimulus boxes. For me, personally, it joins the CGT and F40 as a "keeper"...

With the GTO on far superior Michelin Pilot Supersports compared to the CGT's Michelin Pilot Sport 2

If you didnt need to drive the cgt on the road and could lower it enough to take advantage of the ground effects and put it on cups / hoosiers it would be untouchable in the right hands .
A friend of mine ( also a member ) too much of a gentleman to blow his own trumpet , runs his car on slicks . I have it on good authority that his times are basically those of a 997 cup racer .
rejoice in your wonderful stable
thanks .
talk of the devil , eh ?
