Nah, I'd rather see the thread locked than for it to get silly.

It was something I was pondering the other day, and just thought I'd ask you guys since many of you own one or both of these cars.

It's distantly like the relationship in model line between the Murcielago and the Gallardo. Gallardo owners would prob be pretty bent out of shape if someone said their car wasn't a supercar (or an exotic or whatever your local car enthusiast dialect suggests is the correct term) just because V12 > V10, or because of cost, or availability, etc. But most "rags" classify the Gallardo as an exotic and not "just" a Sports Car or Coupe or whatever.

So ya...I thought it would be a fun kind of topic. But if this has been discussed already (I searched a bit, but didn't see anything like this specifically) or if it's gonna go down the wrong route, then I respectfully request the lockdown.

I have often wondered why Jox is considered an exotic while I have always been referred to as a wide-body.

smoky those are exotics. It can't just be if you see them a lot. I'd bet for every 430 in LA there is 30,000 Prius or Accord or whatever typical car is driven. Whether 100's of 430's and Gallardo's on the street they are still an exotic.

Honestly, who cares what words describe them. They are both very special and extremely fun in their own rights. Buy what you like and have fun with it!
