What Would You Do? Trade Speedster for GT2 RS?

life is too short u gonna enjoy it for every hard penny u earn. but for the above u simply can get a cab or even a Turbo S cab for more fun (and it's not like u don't have a better car for that. lol!)
spend the dough but don't waste it. imo unless u're a true collector that wants to collect a Speedster otherwise don't get caught by Porsche marketing. the GT2RS is already overpriced. the Speedster is even worse by a big margin. if u have no intend to collect them, there are quite a few better options out there for less money. oh! not to mention the new 911 is coming out very soon.

Normally, I'd take a GT2 RS, but considering what you want to do with the car (street driving, twisties, nights on the town), you should no doubt get the Speedster. The GT2 RS is too hardcore for what you need.

Since you have a variety of cars the wife can take to golf or up fishing, I would swap. They'll both lose value. But I see more value in the 2RS. Speedster is no better than GTS cab, but it has heritage. Is that heritage worth the premium? I think not but who am I to know.

What 20C4S said exactly.

I didn't know there was any event going on this weekend?
Unfortunately, I can't make it anyway, but let's figure when we'll both be at Road America.
I'm planning on driving up there May 14 and 15 for the Spring Vintage event. And, traditionally, from July 14 to 17 I have a tent at Turn 5 infield for my "car guy" friends -- we have beer, booze, food, etc. Great place park your car, meet neat people, watch the action.
I'll send you an invite.
