Oh God - Not another 3 pedal manual vs. PDK/DCT thread!!

Personally - I prefer a proper 3 pedal manual for street use. It is more involving. It is fun to rev launch it a bit(when no cops are around), fun to see if you can do a proper heel/toe downshift. BUT at the track where lap times are the goal - a DCT in sport chrono is SO much better. I was at the track last wknd in my GT3 and my buddy in a 911S with DCT. That car shifts perfectly and is unflappable even at mid corner upshfits! It is just amazing how well the car performed with the combination of 385 HP and DCT. The 911S ran out of steam in the top end(compared to the GT3) but it was much easier to focus on trailbraking, proper steering input and left foot braking with a DCT.
