Any news on CGT successor?

I have heard murmours about a bi-turbo V10, approx. 750bhp.

Most interesting though, is the alleged weight will be circa 1250kgs.

Anyone have any other info or thoughts?

A freind of mine who owns many Porsches (and ruf) cars.

Conversely, I had read IIRC in EVO or Car magazine a while back that the CGT successor would have 1000bhp...

That rumor has been circulating for years. It seems unlikely they would make this car anytime soon. The Carrera GT was not a very good seller, and the environment for this type of car is far less friendly today.
Regardless, if they do intend to make something, we saw actual prototypes of the Carrera GT almost 5 years before it was released. I'd say we've got some time yet.

It better be naturally aspirated and light.

based on the unforgiving (to not experienced drivers) chassis dynamics on the car, a FI engine would be a horrible move
too much sudden torque will quickly get you into trouble..
i think a 700 hp and 500 lb of torque 5.7 v10 that weighs 2900-3000 lbs (with fluids) would be a thing of beauty

and do away with PS2s...

that car needs cup tires as standard...

Much of the fun of the car is the linear and immediate rush of acceleration.
