Not trying to call anyone out......just stating facts as I know them. Well at least "my facts".

 

It's another 911 and combined with the brand dilution (Carrara if you touch this I will steal your tricycle and little tassels off the handle bars of your bike) - the coming GT3RS LE, new 911 coming, the 260k price tag... I think it'll happen.

Seen enough Pcar fanboy posts recently that I'll throw this out there - if you gave me that money I wouldn't buy a GT2RS. Just saying.

That said, good luck with the sale BBTurbo! Can't wait to see what's next.

If I had the money I wouldn't think twice. I don't care what's down the road, this thing is an animal. It would be one of those cars I wouldn't sell and would put a smile on my face everytime I'd see it. Like the F40 with Jas and Kuzi. (Not comparing the GT2 rs to the F40 just saying)

 

The car is fast but just not that sexy.The RS still looks racier.

 

But would you REALLY take it over a black (or whatever) 458? Not I.

 

^^ yes. I'd take the GT2 rs all day over it and wouldn't think twice. The GT2 rs is more pure, more of a drivers car. Plus I'm a big fan of forced induction.

 

Yes it does suck. However be that as it may, MOST 430 ppl paid over sticker, if not WAY over sticker. On the contrary most GT2 buyers paid sticker. Some, even less than sticker. Also take into account the 430 Scuds which were carring HUGE premiums.

Regardless, it sucks.

Jamie you know as well as I do that MOST ppl in a position to buy either don't really have to decide. Fact is; as much as I adore the new 458, I think it sucks it doesn't have M/T. Thus the GT2 is way more a handful then most can handle with its M/T.-making it's appeal that only a select few should own one. Because it's not 'sewing machine' easy to drive.

My money? I'd pick up a slightly used MkIGT2 and buy a new 458 (at sticker).

I'm just one opinion and I hope, for everyone's sake, I'm not wrong.

I'd take a Scud over a GT2RS. Talk about raw.
Jamie is a great example. He could, but he doesn't. I wonder if RufMD is getting one? I know people who could buy both and then some but still won't do it for similar reasons. There are sensible wealthy people out there, you know...
