Arrow Porsche 911 GT2 RS vs Carrera video by Autocar

"Porsche's new 612bhp 911 GT2 RS is the most powerful production Porsche the sports car firm has ever produced. But is its £164k price tag worth the £100k premium over the standard - and brilliant - entry-level Carrera model? Jamie Corstorphine compares the two in a series of head-to-head tests - including acceleration and around the track - to find out follow for the video" -> Porsche 911 GT2 RS vs Carrera video - Autocar.co.uk

Got to give the guy credit for being willing to go for a high speed run in that car on a very wet track. I would not have done it...

Thanks for the post. Interesting idea to run those two cars against each other. On a wet track.

I suppose the positive takeaway is the 2RS didn't just constantly spin off the track. Says a lot for linearity of throttle response and forgiveness of chassis set up and tire selection.

This is exactly how my GT2RS would look like. Such an incredible car!
I love to drive the standard carrera, it's so capable on the streets, I wonder how good the RS goes around corners and brutal it is on straight line
thanks

That only happens when Jeremy Clarkson is driving.
