Hmmmmm.....GT2RS in red, white, black, or silver.....

im leaning towards white but this one doesnt have a red alcantara steering wheel which i like.
But actually im surprised the 2RS is so utilitarian that it looks OK in any color, but not great.
Unlike fcars, it needs to be in a certain color, like red or yellow. But surprisingly, silver or black RS look good too.

Still dont know if i should get the 2RS over the 3RS, because its 458, murcielago money.

Or keep my old one because i cant find a 2RS in this color, after all what am i gonna do with the extra 200 ponys??!!

it looks the same!!

Red:

Modify your current 996 GT2, I wouldnt get a 997 GT2RS wait for a the Carrera GT replacement or next Enzo. Dont you have a 458 on the way ?

Of course I'm going to say go for the 2rs, but either way you can't go wrong. Check out this thread https://teamspeed.com/forums/gt/4026...ad-go-122.html

mine is bone stock, never did anything except for better tires and alignment, never felt its slow in the mountains i roam.
Thought about a straight pipe exhaust for 3 years but did nothing.....
dont drive it much, but every time i go out it still is greatly satisfying. Really have to drive it like i stole it to be rewarding.

old CGT still priced out of my reach, let alone the new one.
lucky my 458 coming next week, but will have to wait for great inheritance to think about the next enzo..... isnt funny to be poor when loving cars u know, should give up this hobbie immediately!!

You've great cars in your garage, first of all the 430 Scud is a beautiful spec and is a future classic, the 996 GT2 is raw and an animal compared to the 997 GT2RS, lets think of the 996 GT2 as the first water cooled GT2.

You've got a Porsche = Sports car, an Exotic =F430 Scuderia. If you want something new, how about the new Murcielago replacment ?

i know, i been to the picture thread more than i need to lately, they dont look good, but for some reason u know its gonna be rewarding to drive.
And think about 620 horses going to the back! OMG!! If u love 911s, u have to get one!

i always want the latest and greatest and dont believe in future classics, was all set about getting a CGT but the price and new technology out there really made me hesitate. Just look at the 458 with all the go fast but safe gizmos.
i drive my cars hard so i like them to stay on the road with my mediocre skills.
Already got a quote on the new big Lambo but its more than a like-new CGT so it doesnt make sense, because i like the CGT more, but we will see how much that price drops when the new lambo comes out.
