GT3 for track

GT3 for track
I am looking at a possible 10 GT3 for some tracking. Does anyone here know, or can they find out, what the downforce is on the regular wing versus the RS wing? And weight difference? I had an RS for about 7 months, and the car was very stable. I would like that same feeling on this car as well.
While on this subject, does anyone know a good place to buy the engine cover with a cup wing for a decent price and not the Porsche gouging numbers?
I am also looking at some 07's, so I am wondering the same questions and trying to compare.
Thanks for any help.

Hoehn here in Carlsbad, CA has a 2007 GT3 in Red for sale thats an absolute beauty!
Used 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 For Sale | Carlsbad CA
As far as the rear wing, it does provide and increased amount of downforce compared to the standard GT3 but the figures i am not sure of. I did a brief search but came up empty handed!
Let me know if your interested in that Red GT3, i can put you in touch with the guys over there

I have spent time on track in all variations of the GT3. I have never had a downforce issue with the standard wing. I recommendation is to slap a .1 RS wing on a GT3.1.
Good luck and maybe see you at the track!

Ok, thanks for the replies so far. I bought a 2010 GT3 for a deal. Great deal. Has Sharkwerks race exhaust, GMG cage, etc. I'm changing the camber and setup now. I am just trying to see if a wing is worth the cost or not, and some opinions. Now I'm looking for a deal on some 18's centerlocks.

It's a white GT3. No pics yet. Main thing I like is the sharkwerks full race exhaust. Man that is loud. Loud is good. Has a GMG cage and adjustable lower control arms. Just needs seats and harnesses.

I sold the GT3 RS because the market was tanking and I needed to get ready for the 2 RS coming. It was at the dealer, and I decided I would not give the car away, so I told em to install my Hoosiers and I was coming to pick it up. Between that time and trying to load my trailer to get, someone called and bought the car at asking price. So I let it fly. Truthfully, the economy sucks right now and I could use the money. I was going to buy an 07 GT3 and gut it out for tracking or buy a Spec Boxster and do some racing. While thinking about that, a buddy of mine called and said he was bailing on his GT3 to get a Lexus. The dealer offered nothing. It was track ready but had never tracked the car. I couldn't pass up the price. I did not pay 6 figures for the car and it has a lightweight flywheel, GMG cage, adjustable lower control arms, sharkwerks race exhaust, full leather, white console, etc. Brand new.
