Sabine Schmitz video driving her GT3 RS at Nordschleife
Last weekend the Gentleman Drivers Club went to the Nürburgring for a Private Day on the Nordschleife - stayed at Lindner and had a great few days away. Fellow Teamspeeder Rost12 came along in his GT3...
We had convoy training in the morning and free-lapping all afternoon. Pinnacle for most was high-speed laps with Sabine Schmitz in her GT3 RS. Awesome. On my lap with her, she had a bit of a moment. At around 150mph. Very scary, but she was equal to the task and managed to save it - needless to say the video doesn't quite do it justice. When we showed the video to our instructors that evening over dinner, they said it was a 'write-off moment' that she did fabulously well to save. She's a legend.

Great shots and nice little write up! You must have had so much fun during the event! I watches the clip and she was really flying during that lap. Looked like the others only ran in second gear or something 
Those corners at 8:30 must have been some really intense ones. She made a great save!

The reason she lost it, apparently, was because she took a 'slick' line/speed but we had road tyres.
